Danielle is our Director of Client Strategy and one of those rare individuals who companies would give anything to have managing their client relationships. Rare, yes, because she’s a Bears fan living in Ft. Worth, Texas, but rarer still because of a quality that few in business today possess: a nurturing nature. That’s not to say that our clients are needy, they’re not; well, there might be a couple…but, hey, what client doesn’t, on occasion, need just a bit of nurturing, right?
The Walkers – Danielle, her husband John, and their two sons Luke and Jake – came to Ft. Worth by way of Arizona just a few years ago, Danielle bringing with her the kind of multifamily industry experience that makes her a great addition to the Swift Bunny team. She recalls her early days in the apartment industry this way: “I was just starting out as a leasing agent. We didn’t even have any product to show,” she recounts. “There I was leasing apartments from a small mall kiosk with nothing more than a short video. My coworkers and I leased 100 apartments that way, and from that moment on, I was hooked!” Danielle went on to gain valuable managerial and client relationship experience with a variety of roles specializing in different aspects of the business including training, sales, client engagement, and marketing. Eager to expand her knowledge and skills, she earned her NALP and CAM designations from the National Apartment Association.
But Danielle brings more to our team than just experience and passion. She is also one of those remarkable individuals who is parent to a special-needs child; her 11-year-old son, Luke. It’s a role that requires a patience, love, and understanding that is so important, and so unique, to this very special kind of relationship. Not surprisingly, Danielle’s favorite quote comes from Maya Angelou, who once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” She takes these words to heart and strives to make her coworkers and clients feel supported and respected in every interaction. We know that Danielle’s unique perspective is greatly appreciated by our clients and we feel lucky to have her on our team.
